Original price was: $12,000.00.Current price is: $9,000.00.

Project Sponsorship & Team Scouting is the first of three Short Courses that comprise SOD’s Project Management Vocational Program. It represents the People component of SOD’s signature People, Processes and Technology pedagogical framework, the educational model underpinning the design and development of all SOD learning programs. This progressive academic approach recognises that successful organisational transformation begins with its people, advances through effective process optimisation and mapping and is enabled by technology acquisition. Grounded in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and incorporating Agile principles where relevant, this first level focuses on securing the organisational support, stakeholder commitment and human resources required to establish successful projects. Through four AI-focused microcredentials, students will learn to identify and engage project sponsors, communicate project value, build compelling business cases and secure stakeholder support for proposed initiatives. They will develop practical skills in identifying the competencies required for project delivery, scouting suitable talent across functional departments and negotiating resource availability and commitment with functional managers. Students will also explore how to build high-performance project teams, establish effective working relationships, manage stakeholder expectations and promote collaboration across organisational boundaries. Additionally, they will examine how operational innovation can create opportunities for new projects and how to engage people in supporting organisational improvements and change. Each one of the four microcredentials of the curriculum, comprises 24 hours of learning, providing a total of 96 hours for this Short Course. Successful completion of all three Project Management Short Courses, representing 12 micro-credentials and 288 hours of learning, contributes towards completion of SOD’s Project Management Vocational Program.
