*Each Unit of Competency (Micro-Credential) is available for USD $3,000 per year. Four aligned units can be combined into a Skill Set (Short Course) for USD $9,000 per year, representing a 25% saving. Three aligned Short Courses form a comprehensive Academic Program, available for USD $18,000 per year, delivering a 50% saving compared with licensing its 12 Micro-Credentials individually. SOD’s modular licensing model enables educational institutions and training providers to expand their academic portfolios, introduce industry-relevant programs and create flexible learning pathways without the time and cost of developing educational content from scratch. Behind School of Digital (SOD) is Santi Vela, an educator who believes that education has the power to transform lives, create opportunities and contribute to a more equitable society. Over the past 20 years, Santi has taught thousands of students and professionals across Australia, China, Singapore, the United States, Colombia and Bolivia, discovering that while cultures and educational systems differ, the human aspiration to learn, grow and build a better future is universal. A Markets Engineer from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga (UNAB), with a Master of Education from Griffith University in Australia, Santi has complemented his academic preparation with extensive experience in education and industry, including international teaching, curriculum development and work with multinational organisations. After two decades abroad, Santi is returning to Colombia with a renewed sense of purpose: to give back through education. Through SOD, he brings together everything he has learned in classrooms, universities and industry to design advanced, accessible and industry-relevant educational programs in Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing and Project Management, helping Colombian educational institutions expand access to quality education, create meaningful employment opportunities and promote upward social mobility.
